Location

Hidden along the rugged shores of Mink Bay, beneath a green canopy of boreal and mixed forest, Wild Woods Hideaway is located on land that time has reclaimed from a history of logging and farming. The forest is a mix of natural re-growth, human planting and garden plants gone wild. If you look closely in places you can see the remains of old stone fences built from the shale that lines the shore.  Next to a protected wetland, walking trails and on a small, quiet body of water, Wild Woods Hideaway feels like a remote camp in the Canadian Shield yet is located within the city of Kenora providing opportunities to connect with the markets, music, art, food and people of the surrounding community.
