Smoking and Drinking

Smoking is not allowed in any of our units, nor on the porches of the prospector tents.  It is permitted outside and we ask that you use the ashtrays provided. Please refrain from smoking or drinking in areas that are shared with other guests (dock, playground, outside showers, etc.)

Check-in is between 3 pm and 9 pm. If you will be arriving later than 9 pm, let us know and we will make arrangements for a self check-in with a letter and map.

Check-out is by 11 am. Gear must be loaded into vehicles by 11 to allow us to clean the tents before the arrival of our next guests but you are welcome to stay on-site until later in the day.

Wheelchair Accessible

The Mullein Cabin is wheelchair accessible and is located next to the shower building which has an accessible shower and washroom. Due to our topography it is not possible for the waterfront or walking trails to be accessible.

We hope you will unplug as much as possible during your stay as such none of our units have television, wifi or phones. The prospector tents and cabins do have a plug for charging cell-phones, cameras, etc.

Bedding and Towels

We do not provide bedding or towels except dish clothes and dish towels. You will need to bring your own pillows, bath or beach towels and sleeping bag or blankets.

There is a three-season pay shower available for those guests wishing to shower during their stay.  The cost is $1 for 5 minutes which allows us to cover the costs of providing this service.  The shower house is open between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm and requires loonies.

You are welcome to have up to 2 visitors per day while staying. Visitors may stay until quiet hours and we ask that you keep in mind that the canoes, kayaks, SUP’s, are shared by all guests.  If you wish to have more than 2 visitors please contact us and we can discuss what it would look like.  An additional day rate may apply per additional visitor.

Quiet Hours, Music and Noise

Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 9:00 am. When talking choice of language and volume should be mindful of other guests (don’t worry: kids having fun is different then profane language). Also please let us know if other guests are loud or using inappropriate language.

We are a small camp and have the ability to maintain a quiet camp. Music is strictly limited to inside cabins and the camper at a volume that can only be heard in the unit and is not allowed in tents or outside units.

Wood Stoves

The log cabins come equipped with a wood stove as their heat source.  There will be a fire going in the wood stove when you arrive. If you have questions about operating the wood stove we are happy to help. Firewood for heating the cabins is included with cold-season rentals.  Prospector tents are 3-season and do not come with a heat source.
